Disintegration

PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS

Disintegrated writing portrays physical or mental breakdown and is often a reflection of active psychosis. The writer's thoughts and/or emotions are fragmented or disconnected. The authors feel this sign may be of predictive value, indicating possible impending psychosis. Future research will amplify on this hypothesis.

STROKE DESCRIPTION

Obvious disintegration of the harmony, connections, stability, pressure, or rhythm of the writing. The writing will have a very apparent lack of cohesion and may look as if it is falling apart.
